Cosmetic enhancement with porcelain veneers can restore a gorgeous smile by covering certain aesthetic concerns, such as cracks, stains, chips, small gaps, and more concerns. Thin, specially made shells that are bonded over the front enamel of the patient’s teeth, dental veneers create a natural, good-looking smile. Porcelain veneers are substantial, however still thin enough to be inconspicuous, which helps the porcelain veneers to blend in with the natural teeth. Having dental veneers created by our dentists at EstePlastHair is a efficient, easy way to cover up different physical flaws and make a restored, dazzling smile.
EstePlastHair takes pride in being one of the few dental clinics in Turkey to employ CEREC technology in its cosmetic dentistry practice.
The CEREC dental device eliminates the need to come back for a second appointment. With CEREC you can come in for a single visit and leave with a permanent smile in the same day. This means fewer injections, less drilling and less time out of your busy sightseeing schedule.
The vast majority of people are good candidates for dental veneers; however there are some situations where dental veneers are not a good option. Our dentists will carefully assess your oral health and will decide whether or not dental veneers will best fit your condition.
In many cases, dental veneers can be used to correct the following:
To start out the procedure of manufacturing the personalized dental veneers our dentists will need to make space for the dental veneer by removing a thin layer of enamel from every tooth that is going to be masked to the dental veneer. Once the teeth have been prepared, our dentists will take a digital image of the teeth, which will be used to manufacture the custom dental veneers in a dental laboratory. A temporary veneer can be used to protect the teeth until the final dental veneers are returned to EstePlastHair. The custom dental veneers will be affixed to the front of the teeth using a dental bonding agent. Our dentists will modify the dental veneers if needed to give the patient a secure and comfortable fit.
One of our dental specialists at EstePlastHair will take an optical impression of your tooth using a special camera. This image is then converted into a 3D computerized prototype of your tooth, which is used as a guide to model and design your new dental veneer restoration.
Once you are happy with the newly designed tooth, the data is transferred to our in-house milling machine, which fabricates your new tooth from high-quality ceramic block.
The process of milling can take anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes. The ceramic blocks come in a comprehensive range of colors and shades. Once the veneer has been milled, your dentists may fashion it to match your surrounding teeth.
Finally your new veneer restoration will be fixed into place onto your prepared tooth.
A follow-up appointment is usually planned for about 5 – 7 days after the dental veneers are placed to ensure the attachment is secure and the fit is still comfortable. Dental veneers are more resistant to staining than the natural teeth, but to keep the dental veneers in their pristine condition, our dentists advise avoiding staining foods and drinks, like tea, soda, coffee, and red wine. Patients should start or continue to follow a good home dental care routine, including brushing the teeth daily using a non-abrasive toothpaste, regular flossing, and visiting our dentists for dental cleanings and oral exams at EstePlastHair. With good care, dental veneers may last up to 20 years.
